Winner of the Ministry of Culture and Sport’s Prize for Choreographers in 2018, Feder is an Ethiopian-Israeli dancer, choreographer and musician. She is the founder of the modern dance company “Beta Dance,” which is comprised of dancers of Ethiopian descent as well as dancers who are not Ethiopian. The contemporary-eclectic style of the company combines traditional Ethiopian influences with others, making the creations feel innovative and unorthodox. Feder is considered a pioneer of Ethiopian dance.
